Over the decades, the Cuenca branch of the SOLCA Institute has become the number one leader in cancer treatment and research. Though there are several branches of SOLCA throughout Ecuador, people will travel hundreds of miles to Cuenca to recieve treatment.

SOLCA of Cuenca is one of the most advanced facilities in the region. The hospital is arranged to provide easy access to any and all patient needs. Asside from the basic amenities, SOLCA also has several services available for their patients, such as a Nutrition Center and Department of Social Services. SOLCA also runs extensive in-house teaching and research programs. In addition, many SOLCA physicians travel around the country (and the world) yearly to teach and educate people about cancer, early detection, and treatment.
